We aim to bring functional, low-cost solar hacks to the over 600 million Africans currently without reliable electricity, with a significant focus on empowering women and their communities. We prioritize simple, intuitive designs to ensure accessibility, particularly for users in low-bandwidth areas where complex visuals can be a barrier.

At Solar Jooce, a cornerstone of our strategic approach is what we term “The Pantograph Principle”. This concept is inspired by the mechanical pantograph, which can precisely reproduce or scale designs. In our context, it signifies our commitment to identifying and adapting successful models from around the world, meticulously scaling them down to fit the unique realities and resource constraints of local African contexts. Offering frugal Solar Home Systems (SHS) for basic household needs, including lighting and phone charging, to improve daily life and connectivity
